You may have noticed a slight change in Lillie-Put’s content in the New Year.

Posts with a few more words…fewer of what I call one minute wonders…. fewer posts over all. It is intentional and those of you who know me know I am becoming all about intention.

My goal this year is two-fold: Community and Stewardship. I intend to build community… and I intend to steward all my artistry towards kingdom provision.

To do both of these things: I need to deepen the conversational nature of the blog; I need to focus on artistry and I need to be reading more of your blogs.

In order to accomplish this I will be approaching the blog more as an open journal, a chat room and a photography/ sketch book. I will still be joining challenges, just fewer than I use to. I will also be increasing the time I spend reading your material and chatting with you about it. Above all and the goal will always be creating community and creating kingdom provision. That might be part of a new tag line…Creating community and Kingdom provision…Yeah I like that!
Appreciate the changes.
Thank you. I hope to strengthen connections in a big way this year. It feel sort of like a mission or something.
These online connections are important especially in these times where many are self-isolating.
I took on the role of on-line pastor at our church during this pandemic and I have been amazed by how rich the community is. I have blogged for years, but I feel like I am just beginning to get my mind wrapped around how important and connective this space can be not just in our current circumstances but going forward.
I discovered the blogging community when I was bedridden for three years. It gave purpose and connection to my eyes.
That is a very powerful testimony about the strengthening nature of community.
Love your idea for change. Conversing with each other is my favorite part of blogging. So many great people out there that I never would have met if not for blogging. Looking forward to your posts.
Thanks for the affirmation. I agree with you about the conversational aspect of blogging. Up until this year my job has kept me so harried that I have not had as much time or emotional space for it as I would like. This year I am going to try to make it a priority.
Wishing you the best! Happy New Year!
Thank you! I have a sense things are going to be wonderful this year…and challenging.
