Here are the questions and my answers.

Pancakes, waffles or French Toast as your breakfast favorite?

PANCAKES FOR SURE! I HAVE BEEN THINKING ABOUT THEM AND BACON ALL WEEK. I THINK I WILL MAKE THEM TOMORROW.

Do you think a person’s name influences the person they become?

I THINK SOMETIMES A NAME HAS TO BE OVERCOME, BUT EVEN THAT IS A CHOICE WE CAN MAKE. WE ARE OUR OWN INFLUENCERS.

Would things get better or worse if humans focused on what was going well rather than what’s going wrong?

BETTER, NO DOUBT. ALTHOUGH WE DO HAVE TO FACE OUR CHALLENGES.

Is math(s) something that humans created or something we discovered? Is looking at reality mathematically an accurate representation of how things work?

I THINK WE DISCOVERED MATH. THAT SAID IT IS NOT THE BE ALL END ALL. THE MATH ELEMENT MUST BE COMBINED WITH THE ELEMENT OF EMOTION AND THE NON QUANTIFIABLES IN ORDER FOR A FULL PICTURE OF ANY CIRCUMSTANCE TO EMERGE.

What are you grateful for right now?   I realize it’s difficult to be very positive right now, unless one is being positive that things are pretty awful.   Let’s spread the joy in gratitude!

I AM GRATEFUL FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO WORSHIP GOD EVERY DAY.

Evening Meditation 3-30-20

Remember the wonders he has done,
his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced,
you his servants, the descendants of Abraham,
his chosen ones, the children of Jacob.
He is the Lord our God;
his judgments are in all the earth.

He remembers his covenant forever,
the promise he made, for a thousand generations,
the covenant he made with Abraham,
the oath he swore to Isaac.
 Psalm 105: 5-9

Tell me one thing you know about the covenant God has made with mankind.

Notes From the Vicarage

In my afternoon prayer time the Lord said, “You are beginning to slow down enough to become more consistently creative.”

It is true I have been attempting to be more creative on a more consistent basis. My goal, for the longest time, has been to create a piece of writing and a piece of art everyday.

A fellow artist began posting simple drawing techniques to play with when the stay at home order began. It was then I thought to myself. This time apart could help me establish some of the new habits I have been attempting this year. The dog above was drawn by first writing the number 61 on the page.

One of my problems artistically has always been my consistency. I tend to create in fits and starts. The idea of taking time…prioritizing time everyday has seemed nearly impossible.

That road block which has plagued me for…
