An Encouragement From Mirjam In the Netherlands

My sister Brenda, as you may know, is a missionary to The Netherlands. Currently she is here in the U.S. raising funds for the mission. She cannot return until the funds are fully raised.

Mirjam is one of my sister Brenda’s fellow laborers in the Netherlands. Mirjam and her husband Willem are both integral parts of the team over in Zaandam and they want Brenda back.

Here is Mirjam’s word of faith

Stuck at just $430 a month.

My sister is a missionary to The Netherlands. The church she serves in has seen over thirty new converts in three months. The field is ripe and white unto harvest.

Brenda is currently home raising her funds as our fellowship requires every four years. She is almost at goal. Here is the update

Lisa Johnson is not only a very talented artist she is the third member of our Gutters for Jesus team helping to raise funds for Special Touch REACH New England. This vital ministry to the disabled meets monthly to encourage community and to proclaim the gospel to one of the most underserved groups in the world.

One of our goals is to help churches become more aware of how they can serve the disabled in their own community. Recently two of our core group met with a local children’s ministry to do a training on how to work with children on the autism spectrum.

The Love Of God Campaign Pt. 4

Many of you know my sister is a missionary to the Netherlands. In our fellowship missionaries are required to return to their country of origin every fourth year to itinerate and raise support for their mission and to raise awareness of the mission among the churches of their homeland.

Brenda has been home now for 16 months and is almost finished her itinerant fund raising. On February 1 she began the love of God campaign to finish raising the last $1400.00-ish of monthly supporters on February 12th she posted.

After Scandinavians, the Dutch are the world’s biggest coffee drinkers. They drink no less than 140 liters of coffee a year on average. That’s 3.2 cups a day!

This is my friend Jody. He is one of the members of my bowling team Gutters For Jesus. Together we are raising funds for Special Touch REACH New England. REACH stands for Respecting Everyone’s Ability to Choose Hope.

This ministry to the disabled has been a valued part of my life for several years. The friends I have made and the opportunities I have had are among the most treasured memories of my life.

I have worked with Special Touch for three years as their New England Camp worship leader and last year as their New England Camp evangelist.

In addition I have been privileged to be a member of the core team that launched New England’s first Special Touch chapter, REACH New England .

REACH stands for Respecting Everyone’s Ability to Choose Hope!

Our bowl-a-thon is one of the ways that this vital ministry raises funds to operate.
