Weekly Photo Challenge: All That Glimmers

This week the Daily Post has challenged us to show our photos of SHINY THINGS.

You can click the underlined link to get to a host of shining photos.

Here are my photographs and thoughts on the matter.

“All that glisters is not gold;
Often have you heard that told:
Many a man his life has sold
But my outside to behold:
Gilded tombs do worms enfold
Had you been as wise as bold,
Your in limbs, in judgment old,
Your answer had not been in’scroll’d
Fare you well: your suit is cold.’ Cold, indeed, and labour lost: Then, farewell, heat and welcome, frost!” Shakespeare, Merchant Of Venice

The moments captured in shining brilliance may not be gold we can buy the world with, but the world itself could hardly compare with even a moment of memory captured in the glare of such a sun. JE Lillie

Evening Meditation 10-19-16

img_20160726_202041.jpg

Teach me how to live, O Lord.
    Lead me along the right path,
    for my enemies are waiting for me.
12 Do not let me fall into their hands.
    For they accuse me of things I’ve never done;
    with every breath they threaten me with violence. Psalm 27:11,12

What do you do when you are wrongly accused?

Mid Afternoon Meditation 10-19-16

Teach me how to live, O Lord.
    Lead me along the right path,
    for my enemies are waiting for me.
12 Do not let me fall into their hands.
    For they accuse me of things I’ve never done;
    with every breath they threaten me with violence. Psalm 27:11,12

Does walking on the right path always keep you out of your enemies hands? If not how does the being on the right path help?

What are some of the methods God uses to lead you in the direction He wants you to go?
