Mid Afternoon Meditation 10-19-16

2009-07-03 17.30.48

Teach me how to live, O Lord.
    Lead me along the right path,
    for my enemies are waiting for me.
12 Do not let me fall into their hands.
    For they accuse me of things I’ve never done;
    with every breath they threaten me with violence. Psalm 27:11,12

Does walking on the right path always keep you out of your enemies hands? If not how does the being on the right path help?

  1. Unfortunately, living in the fallen world means you can be doing everything right–and everything may go wrong. That’s where you get opportunity to strengthen those faith muscles! We must get to a place of intimacy and maturity with the Lord so that when “bad things happen to good people”, we can stand still and firm–knowing our Good Father and Almighty God of Power is not on a coffee break, and HE WILL fight for us, care for us, lead us through, be Always Faithful to us. He’s our ROCK, and that’s not for nothin’!
