Oooh, that’s a pretty one!! Poison sumac popped into my mind–is it truly poisonous, or am I mixed up yet again? 🙂
Well there are two varieties. This is red berry sumac which is not poisonous. But white berry sumac which we also have around here is poisonous. The leaves can cause itching and the berries well let’s just say stay away from the white berries.
