Psalm 131
A SONG OF ASCENTS. OF DAVID.
1 My heart is not proud, Lord,
my eyes are not haughty;
I do not concern myself with great matters
or things too wonderful for me.
2 But I have calmed and quieted myself,
I am like a weaned child with its mother;
like a weaned child I am content.
3 Israel, put your hope in the Lord
both now and forevermore.

When you walk with your hope in the Lord, it’s a supernatural calmness that holds you.
Yes. I have experienced that often. He shield those who are in His presence.
Sometimes hope is exciting for me–but when it’s calm, it’s all about the Peace JESUS brings me.
I like that thought. I think the peace is also part of my hope and I am glad to be experiencing at least a piece of that hope right now.
I agree–peace and hope are clasped hands or peanut butter and jam…whatever 🙂 I’m very glad to hear you’re experiencing a piece of hope right now, Brother–I am too, except when I accidentally see the news of yet another violent protest in Seattle especially–too close to home, very upsetting.
The world is so uncertain now. All our hope must be in the Kingdom coming!
