It is time to SHARE MY WORLD!
This is the challenge where our hostess, Melanie, asks some questions, and in answering them, we her contributors SHARE OUR WORLDS.
Melanie’s questions and my answers are below. When you have finished reading here, click the underlined link above and check out how Melanie’s other contributors answers the questions.
- Are you thin or thick skinned? Are you easily offended or tend to let it just roll off your back like a duck does with water? My job as a pastor requires a thick skin. Living as a minister is a little like living in a fish bowl. People are always observing and commenting on what they observe and many times they are not very careful to consider the weight of their words. It just goes with the territory.
- How important are morals in a healthy society? What are the most important morals for citizens to have? (Credit to Rory for this question) OK I could go a lot of places with this but I will let David speak for me this morning from Psalm 11-
“When the foundations are being destroyed, what can the righteous do?”
Shared morals are the bedrock of any society. When they shift or simply go away then the culture is sent into chaos. I would say the morals that are most important are the morals that line up with the one kingdom that is going to last forever. When all other kingdoms fail the Kingdom of God will go on. It is that society’s morals we should seek to emulate. OK I know that was a controversial answer, but now you definitely know a little bit more about my world.
- What will your epitaph be?
“He definitely believed!”
4. (I don’t admire either/or questions much, which is why you won’t see ‘em often. Today is an exception) French toast, pancakes or waffles?
Pancakes! Thank you!
What were you grateful for this past week?
I am so grateful I got to visit with my daughters and my grand daughter. Thank you Amanda for taking me along for the ride!

OMG…what a cute baby!
She really is and so cheery!
Aww…a happy baby! ❤
She certainly is.
I agree fully with Dawn! What a CUTE baby!! And lucky grandpa, getting to share time with her! 🙂 Thanks Joseph for Sharing Your World. I believe the righteous have an obligation to speak out, controversial or not, especially in these times when the moral compass, at least in America, has gotten lost for the most part. Thank you!
As I talk to friends and family across the globe I sense the moral compass has been spinning madly out of control for some time all over the world.
