What did you or did not like about the first place you lived without your parents?
The first place I lived apart from my parents was a tiny little apartment in Bible college. It was the first apartment my wife and I lived in. The living room had an orange rug with sky blue walls. The bedroom rug was brown and the walls were pink. The kitchenette only had a two burner stove and no oven. The refrigerator was one of those small college refriges with a 1’x1′ box freezer you could fit individual ice cream bars in. You could shower and go to the bathroom at the same time because the bathroom was so small and we didn’t control the heat. I loved it.
What is your most favorite smell/scent?
I love lavender and cilantro.
Would you prefer snowy winters, or not, and why?
Well today we are slated for another 12- 18 inches of the white stuff. I love snow for about the first two weeks of the winter and then I am ready for spring. By March snow just makes me a little nuts.
What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week? Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.
I am stuck once again in the book of Hebrews. I am loving chapter 4-9. Here are some of my favorite verses
Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. 19 This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary. 20 Jesus has already gone in there for us. Hebrews 6:18-20

Yes to fresh cilantro! I forgot to add that one, but it smells so good! 🙂
It sure does. I think I am going to grow some this summer.
🙂 that would be nice, to have grown your own cilantro!
I have done it before and then it goes to seed and the seed is the spice coriander. I love that too!
A great picture!
The smell of Lavender is very nice.
So you are going to have a Winter Wonderland? I posted a snow story. 🙂
It truly is a winter wonderland. We got about 10 inches which was easier to shovel than the thirty five inches that fell just to out west in the Berkshires.
I love Hebrews! I’m currently reading 1 Timothy.
I love the Timothy’s I have been bouncing back and forth between Hebrews and Romans all year long. I seem to be stuck in this deep meditation on the New Covenant and its deeper implications.
Lovely! I’ve been bouncing back and forth between Hebrews and Revelation currently.
Now that males for some deep reading.
Most certainly!
You guys have been getting the snow the past week or so. Stay warm and safe. Thanks for sharing Pastor J. 😀
We got about 10 inches last night. The storm stalled over the Berkshires an hour West of us and dropped 20 to 35 inches on them. We have another one coming in on Monday! Yikes!
They say that folks either love or hate cilantro. I love it!
It is true Dawn. I love it especially with lime on chicken or in guacamole.
Oooo….that sounds delish!
🙂
