Morning Direction From Scripture 5-28-17

My heart pounds in my chest.
    The terror of death assaults me.
Fear and trembling overwhelm me,
    and I can’t stop shaking.
Oh, that I had wings like a dove;
    then I would fly away and rest!
I would fly far away
    to the quiet of the wilderness. Interlude
How quickly I would escape—
    far from this wild storm of hatred. Psalm 55:4-8

What can you do to weaken your fears?

  1. Short answer? Pray. In this awful time of turmoil and trouble in the world, I remember there is one who watches over me and has my safety in mind. He (Christ) carries me through the storm.
