Happy first week of 2017 everyone! I am kicking the year off by Sharing My World with you all and I hope that this will be a year of great sharing.

Here are the New Year’s first questions and my answers.
Would you prefer to receive a unicycle, bicycle, tricycle or motorcycle?
I would like to receive a unicycle. Not because I think I could ride it. Some days I can barely walk without falling over (and I don’t even drink). And frankly anything with a little triangular seat makes me go a little cross eyed with painful thoughts. So no I wouldn’t think of riding a unicycle…or a bicycle…or a tricycle. Frankly a motorcycle is just a really fast vibrating version of any of those aforementioned things (my legs are going numb just thinking about it). BUT it would be cool to say, “Oh I have a unicycle.”
What is one thing you’d like to accomplish this year?
I would like to publish.
What was one of the highlights of 2016 for you?
2016 was probably the busiest year I have ever had period. It was a great year of accomplishment, but it was also the year when I crossed the threshold into what I think is going to be a quieter more reflective and perhaps more creative period of life. At least that is one of the commitments I am making to the Lord and myself having come through 2016. I guess that’s not as much a highlight as it is a life lesson but there ya’ go!
Would you prefer to fly a kite or fly in a hot air balloon?
Hot air balloon definitely. Maybe this is the year.
Optional Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I am grateful for a quiet New Year and a wonderful visit with my daughter Melanie on New Year’s Eve.

This week I am grateful for an opportunity to preach a message on fasting and prayer at Cornerstone Church. The message is entitled, “Truth, Justice and the heavenly Way.”

I’ll join you for a hot air balloon ride. 😀
I think this balloon is getting pretty full. I think Dawn wants in too. We are all going to have to meet in Wyoming or something so nobody will have to travel the whole distance. 🙂
This could be it…for both of us.
I’m all in!
For the balloon ride or publishing?
I’m not actively seeking to be published other than some magazine submissions. So in a way, both. 🙂
Ahh! So it is the balloon ride! Cee wants to go to. 🙂 I think we could fill our ballon up with bloggers wouldn’t that be cool. We could meet somewhere central. Wyoming….Colorado…..Kansas (forgive the OZ reference) wouldn’t that be a hoot? Now who could we get to finance said trip…..hmmmm.
Hmmmm…yea..let me know…lol
Okay and of you hear of anyone who wants to pay for a bunch of poor bloggers to go on a balloon ride together over Yellowstone let me know. 😉
…the stuff dreams are made of!
🙂
Really nice photo of you and your daughter, Pastor J! I wish you all the BEST with your publishing goal–I KNOW you can do it!
I am thinking this is the year. The book is in final rewrites and hopefully by next fall…
Yaaayyyyy!
I think hot air balloon rides would be very cool, but yet not sure about them. If you go it would make for an exciting post and great pictures 😉
They are a bit expensive but if I go I will undoubtedly take many pictures and I am imagining it will give me fuel for several posts.
