Morning Direction From Scripture 5-25-16

But you, Lord, are a shield around me,
    my glory, the One who lifts my head high.
I call out to the Lord,
    and he answers me from his holy mountain. Psalm 3:3, 4

Describe the shield of God you visualize around yourself.

  1. The Lord (and His faithfulness) is my shield. When the devil sends his arrows at me, I just need to run to the Lord and spend time with him in prayer and reading/speaking his Word. He is always faithful to protect me. I like the picture in Psalm 91:4:
    “He will cover you with his feathers,
    and under his wings you will find refuge;
    his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.”
