It’s time to share my world again. In fact it is time for all of us to share our world a little bit, because sharing is better than hoarding…or something like that.
Anyway, Cee is asking us five new questions. My answers are below. The answers of all her other contributors can be found HERE.

Name one thing not many people know about you.
Hmm one thing people don’t know about me… My favorite superhero is The Vision.

If a distant uncle dies and you were always his favorite and leaves you $50,000 (any currency) in his will, what would you do?
Currently I would tithe off the top (10%) and then I would use the rest to finish fixing the house and then I would visit my son in South Korea.
Where do you hide junk when people come over?
We don’t hide it. If people can’t handle a little junk they shouldn’t visit. That said I am trying to do a better job of cleaning the house lately.
Complete this sentence: I want to learn more about …
…hearing the voice of God.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I am grateful for the beginning of Boiler Room Prayer at our church. We had about 12 people come out for the first night and we all noticed a real affect on our services the following morning.
This week I am looking forward to getting a lot of my office work caught up.

Great answer on the junk question! I’m developing somewhat the same attitude. My husband would be very uncomfortable in a clean house, so I’ve learned to live with a little mess — only then I rush around like a madwoman when company is coming. More and more I’m telling myself “This is how we live. Our friends will accept this.” Thanks for showing me I’m on the right path.
I have learned that not everyone is totally accepting. Those people I meet at a neutral location and they know not to come without an announcement.
Boiler Room Prayer – I like that name! Your previous response reminded me of a quote: If you’re coming to see me, come any time. If you’re coming to see the house, make an appointment. One thing I’ve learned about hearing the voice of God (especially when I have a devotional to write) is He will get His message to you. If you miss it, or question what you heard, you will get a second notice. I used to stress all day Monday for my Wednesday deadline, trying to “hear.”
You are right Patti. I love that God confirms His words to us. I need that because I so often second guess what I have heard at first.
I think we all do.
You are right.
