I am actually getting to share my world with Cee early this week! I cannot tell you how excited that makes me.
When you have finished reading my shares go visit Ceeland and see what her other contributors have said.

If you were the architect of one existing building, which building would you select?
I think it would have to be a Victorian house. I thought about being the architect for some huge city office building or skyscraper. It would probably bring me more fame but not as much satisfaction as knowing I had built a shelter for a family’s lifetime.
What is one of your favorite quotes?
My all-time favorite quote is “Take time for the quiet moments; For God whispers and the world is loud.”
What color do you feel most comfortable wearing?
I feel best in black.
What is something you learned in the last week?
I learned the difference between elderberry and pokeberry.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I am so grateful for a beautiful Fourth of July Weekend. I am looking forward to preaching at this week’s Special Touch Disability awareness Day on Saturday and on Sunday morning at Cornerstone.
One of my all time dreams is to live in a Victorian house and who knows maybe it is in God’s plan that He has for me. I am looking forward to hearing you preach at our Special Touch Disability awareness Day and at Cornerstone this weekend.
I have so many favourite quotes, but my ‘best’ favourite is one found written in the journal of Jim Elliot, missionary who was killed by the Auca Indians . . .
So live, that when you come to die, you have nothing left to do but die.
Another fav is “If there is no fruit in my life, there is no reason for my existence”
I love both of these quotes. My favorite Jim Elliot quote is, “He is no fool who gives up what he cannot keep for what he cannot lose.”
When trying to answer the first question I had the same thoughts as you.
Elderberry and pokeberry. I’ve heard pokeberries make birds intoxicated. (I think it was pokeberry–maybe I need a berry lesson).
Birds do get intoxicated. We were sugar cane farmers before selling the farm and retiring. The cut cane was loaded into bins to wait transportation to the sugar mill. Rosellas would flock to the bins and get very drunk from the juice dropping from the bins. They staggered around and were quite comical to watch.
I had to look up Rosellas, not familiar with them. So pretty! You are blessed to have such beautiful birds around.
Oh my!
That is a beautiful house and a lovely quote:) Thanks
Thanks! It is right down the street from mine.
