My friend Jody took last week’s prayer meeting. I was asked to a town board meeting in support of an amphitheater hopefully being built in our town community park.
We hung out for an hour or so in person and on line for a prayer meeting tonight. We are praying through the psalms and this week we prayed through Psalm Chapter 12. There were several prophetic moments in the service. Maybe one of them was for you.
I haven’t been getting to post these prayer meetings because of the busyness of my days…..I guess really that is an excuse, but I am taking time today to post our last Wednesday’s prayer meeting from Cornerstone Church. We are praying through the Psalms and our Psalm this weeks was Psalm 11
In the Lord I take refuge.
How then can you say to me:
“Flee like a bird to your mountain.
2 For look, the wicked bend their bows;
they set their arrows against the strings
to shoot from the shadows
at the upright in heart.
3 When the foundations are being destroyed,
what can the righteous do?”
4 The Lord is in his holy temple;
the Lord is on his heavenly throne.
He observes everyone on earth;
his eyes examine them.
5 The Lord examines the righteous,
but the wicked, those who love violence,
he hates with a passion.
6 On the wicked he will rain
fiery coals and burning sulfur;
a scorching wind will be their lot.
7 For the Lord is righteous,
he loves justice;
the upright will see his face.
Welcome to our weekly prayer meeting at Cornerstone. This week in honor of Psal Chapter 5 we call this meeting “The Heard” Prayer Meeting.
This week we are calling our weekly prayer meeting THE CALL. This prayer meeting changes its name on a weekly basis. This week in honor of Psalm 4 we have called it “THE CALL” as a reminder of Psalm 4:1
Answer me when I call to you,
my righteous God.
Here is our prayer meeting on Psalm chapter 3 as we pray through the Psalms.
Here is our final installment of The 7 Letters Of Revelation.
Here is our Wall Prayer-Bible Study for the week. Tonight we discussed the church at Sardis.
Here is our discussion and prayer regarding the letter to the Church in Pergamum from Revelation chapter 2.
I am running a bit behind with my posting today. It has been a busy week with many distractions. Distractions are not good for me on the whole, but sometimes they cannot be avoided.
Anyway last night was Pastor Dan’s final night with us at The Wall Prayer meeting. He will preach his final sermon at Cornerstone on Sunday and then Amanda, Brenda and I will take the LEwiston’s out for a final dinner and they will be off to their new posting in Tennessee.
Here is the video of our final night together at The Wall. Next week I shall carry on with the teaching regarding the letters from Revelation 2 and 3.
