Thankful Thursdays is an opportunity every week for me to show my thankfulness to God for what He is done.

I am very aware that without Him I would not/could not be where I am today.  I am not a product of my talent, ability, or goodness. I am only a product of His grace, mercy and supernatural work!

Evening Meditation 9-7-16

Wow! It seems like forever since I have had a moment to write! I have been away at a leadership training. Man! Is my brain full. I didn’t think it possible to have so much information and experience crammed into one twenty four hour period!

Here is my meditation on Psalm 23 for this evening.

Surely your goodness and love will follow me
    all the days of my life, Psalm 23:6

Does hearing that His goodness and love have been following you today redefine how you perceive the events of the last twenty four hours? How?

 

Magnification Mondays 9-5-16

Magnification Mondays is a post dedicated to refocusing hearts on the worship of Jesus. Usually I use the post to encourage the work of praising God. He is worthy! But today is Labor Day and so I wanted to focus not on our labor for the Lord but on what He has done for us and further on the hope we rest in.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Eph. 2:8,9
