Magnification Mondays 9-5-16

Magnification Mondays is a post dedicated to refocusing hearts on the worship of Jesus. Usually I use the post to encourage the work of praising God. He is worthy! But today is Labor Day and so I wanted to focus not on our labor for the Lord but on what He has done for us and further on the hope we rest in.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Eph. 2:8,9

  1. One of my favorite verses. Knowing that we cannot work hard enough to get to heaven. But only by faith in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus are we saved. Because if we could do it for ourselves we would have no reason to need Him! Ty for sharing 😊
