This post is written in response to Fandango’s FOWC CHALLENGE: LINGER. As this is a Creative Writing Wednesday I am choosing to practice some poetry.

WHY WAIT?

I often linger,

Protecting self interest

Over other’s needs,

Wishing for convenience,

But knowing there will be none.
