This is a famous passage for a reason.  It contains a great truth.  Often, we start thinking that we are in control of our own lives.  We start thinking that we “run the show.”  But, if we are Christians, we do not even own ourselves.

One thing that fascinates me of late is the idea of the incarnation. Of course we have just come through the season where we celebrate Christ’s incarnation, His taking on human flesh and walking our streets and wearing our frailty. (Phil 2:6-9)
