Never heard of it! Mugwort. Does the fragrance match the name?
It is very sweet almost a cross between lavender and mint.
And especially strong in the morning and at sunset.
Unique scent! Sounds wonderful.
I am going to gather and dry some for satchets for Christmas.
What a great idea! I did that when we visited a lavender farm and gathered lavender heads just for that purpose.
Since I am going to be a bit short on cash this winter I am looking for things I can do or make.
I always appreciate handmade gifts from my friends – Personal and individualized. I think they mean a lot more.
The beams of light are magnificent! I’m unfamiliar with mugwort, is it a regional plant? Sounds lovely, as both lavender and mint are redolent.
It grows here as a roadside weed. Almost no one grows it on purpose. I just discovered it has a lot of uses and so I might just try to grow it intentionally next year. This year it is prolific and the scent in our area this week as it blossoms is amazing.
Sounds like you live in a corner of Paradise 🙂
I like to think so. It’s a run down corner but it is at least at the edge.
Nice.
