Those sort of “Christians” amuse me. I was told, by someone, a very long time ago, that Mormons have the idea they can earn their way into heaven. I think that attitude is rife throughout all Christian faiths…there are those who think good works gives them an automatic pass right to the Pearly Gates. Myself? I believe that it’s what we learn and who we become on our journey through life that determines our future progress or lack of it. And God loves us all, regardless. That is a very hard concept to understand.
It is hard for me at times to know the difference between the two. Praying for you to be free from the things not intended for you, So you can freely answer His call upon your life! Me too.
I shall pray for you too Deb. God has been showing me some things this week and I am praying into them deeply. It all comes back to relationship and the foundation it is set upon.
Thank you , Pastor J. What you said about it coming back to relationship is a revelation from Him to you! And I got to partake in it too! 🙂

Perfect picture for this quote!
I think sometimes I work too hard at things God has not called me too even though the church does.
