O God, when you led your people out from Egypt,
when you marched through the dry wasteland, Interlude
8 the earth trembled, and the heavens poured down rain
before you, the God of Sinai,
before God, the God of Israel.
9 You sent abundant rain, O God,
to refresh the weary land.
10 There your people finally settled,
and with a bountiful harvest, O God,
you provided for your needy people. Psalms 68:7-10

True Surrender
What does that look like?
Well for me it looks like Jacob probably did after wrestling with an Angel (God) Thank you for asking me to think..lol I think we want life to be easy and we want instant relief from hardships. I think God mold , and grow us best when we have to wrestle for our blessing. I think Egypt and then the desert are what it takes for us sometimes to finally want to surrender.
I agree Kerry. I think sometimes we want out of our trials so much we forget that they can be good for us. They have something to show us. They have something to build in us.
