He is our refuge…our place to rest, recover, and recharge. He is our Strength…He gives us the energy, the ability and everything we need to go and fight the next battle and win. We need both the refuge and the strength of God to be victorious.
He’s our Refuge, a place to hide (and the 3 R’s Brenda mentioned) while He’s fighting the battle; He’s our Strength when we’re getting in some licks of our own.
I agree. There are times when we are told to stand still and let the Lord fight our battles. Then there are times when we are told to stand forth a take the battle into our hands and fight alongside the Lord.

This is really good. Our time in the refuge causes us to be filled with His strength.

Yes, I pray I can hear clearly and discern when I’m supposed to “stand still” and when to “go forth”–it can get confusing in the melee…
It sure can.
