Evening Meditation 3-19-17

I do not trust in my bow;
    I do not count on my sword to save me.
You are the one who gives us victory over our enemies;
    you disgrace those who hate us.
O God, we give glory to you all day long
    and constantly praise your name. Interlude Psalm 44:6-8

Tell me about a time you refused to use your “bow” or your “sword” and chose to let the Lord defend you and it worked out well.

  1. Today would be that day. I have no way….Only God can defend me. I am not interest in a battle…I just want to move in the direction God has for me. That does not come by kicking up a holy fuss. It come by quieting the soul and letting what be will be…and moving through what is.

    • Amen. When you walk through the fires you shall not be burned. When you walk through the flood the waters shall not overwhelm you. That can only be accomplished with a quiet soul focused on the living God.
