Vindicate me, my God,
and plead my cause

I’m not sure–it actually seems like an odd phrase that I’m reading for the first time, as I can’t imagine God having to plead a cause…but perhaps it has to do with Him using His people of influence to turn the nation’s minds to what He desires…?
