Morning Direction From Scripture 2-26-17

But may all who search for you
be filled with joy and gladness in you.
May those who love your salvation
repeatedly shout, “The Lord is great!”
17 As for me, since I am poor and needy,
let the Lord keep me in his thoughts.
You are my helper and my savior.
O my God, do not delay. Psalm 40:16,17

Do you think there is a difference between God’s definition of delay and ours? If so what is the difference?

  1. My short answer is that God is never in a hurry–whereas, I usually am 🙂 Apparently I haven’t yet reached the level of maturity where I trust His timing–so I keep sending Him “reminder memos”…which must go in a file somewhere in the Heavenly Home Office 🙂
