Evening Meditation 2-11-17

Rescue me from my rebellion.
Do not let fools mock me.
I am silent before you; I won’t say a word,
for my punishment is from you.
10 But please stop striking me!
I am exhausted by the blows from your hand.
11 When you discipline us for our sins,
you consume like a moth what is precious to us.
Each of us is but a breath. Interlude Psalm 39: 8-11

What is the importance of the interlude?

  1. This person Pastor Lilli was calling out to God whom he said was a stranger to him, he was saying he needed rescuing from his rebellion, yes he was still inflicting himself with the punishment for the wrong he was doing, we reap what we sow good and bad as I shared before. God can’t rescue us unless we choose to stop Sinning because Sin separates us from Him, good and evil cannot co-exist and as confirmed in Scripture God sees Sinners from afar and He doesn’t even hear their prayers, except those of Heart Repentance.

John 9:31 Now we know that God heareth not Sinners but if any man be a Worshipper of God and doeth His will him He heareth.

James 4: 6 – 8 …. God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God and He will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands ye Snners and purify your hearts ye double minded.

Proverbs 11:19-20 As Righteousness tendeth to life so he that pursueth evil pursueth it to his own death. They that are of a froward heart are abomination to the Lord but such as are upright in their way are His delight.

Psalm 5:4 For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness neither shall evil dwell with thee.

Psalm 94:23 And He shall bring upon them their own iniquity and shall cut them off in their own wickedness yea The Lord our God shall cut them off.

Jeremiah 31:30 But every one shall die for his own iniquity every man that eateth the sour grape his teeth shall be set on edge.

  2. We can see Pastor Lilli by this Man’s words that he was searching for God, he did not know Him as we do, only God knows our hearts but True Heart Repentance does not leave bondage, we have freedom in our spirit and by the empowering of The Holy Spirit we have assurance that we belong to God and are set free from Sin. .

    Blessings – Anne.
