O Lord, don’t rebuke me in your anger
or discipline me in your rage!
2 Your arrows have struck deep,
and your blows are crushing me. Psalm 38:1,2

VERY gently, as He knows better than anyone how easily I am crushed.
I love how His discipline is disciple specific. He gives us what we need to growm
YES–what a wonderful Father and Lord!
We reap the evil we sow Pastor Lilli, this is God’s discipline, as Stella shared and it is confirmed in Scripture, He does not crush our spirit. The person in Psalm 38 said he had sinned and this brings it’s own punishment just as doing good brings Joy and Peace. Yes it was God who put these in place from Creation with Him knowing about the Fall, this was so we would not continue to Sin but instead seek Righteousness, we see this very clearly with the Prodigal Son but Wow what a welcome Home!
