Well, I can testify that God has kept me safe, and prospered me, in a “land” where wickedness and ungodliness have dwelt very close to me for 19 1/2 years. I may have often felt unnerved, even frightened–but no actual harm has come to me; and He has provided for all my needs, and prospered my faith especially. I wish I could tell you that it’s because I’ve always kept my eyes on the Lord–but that’s not accurate–and even if I’d managed that, then I might take the credit, when all the glory goes to our Faithful God 🙂
