No it’s not odd to me. Maybe when the feel the shame and disgrace, they’ll be moved toward repentance–if not, they’ll get a taste of how they’ve damaged others, unless they’re true sociopaths of course.
I think in the light of the Spirit’s final conviction even the sociopaths will know true shame. Imagine that feeling disgraced and shamed for the first time in your life and knowing this feeling you have avoided all your life is now with you forever. What sorrow!
