Important so we don´t mess up too much?
The Proverbs do tell us that the fear of the Lord keeps us from sin.
We did a study through the Psalms and Proverbs of the fear of the Lord to see what it supplied, and basically everything needed for (to borrow a phrase from Peter) life and godliness. In the Fear of the Lord, all of life abundant is contained.
Amen! We look at that word fear as such a negative thing but as He does with all things He touches God changes fear when it is rightly combined with Him into a thing that benefits us.
