This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him,
And saved him out of all his troubles.
7 The angel[a] of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him,
And delivers them. Psalm 34:6,7

No it’s not hard–I greatly appreciate that He surrounds me with angels like a hedge of protection where I live. They are more than welcome to encamp about me, and go with me–and Him–wherever errands (or adventures) take us. And I especially love it when the angels He sends take human form–way cool and reassuring 🙂
The word does say that as we practice hospitality many of us have entertained angels unawares. I love the thought of angels taking human form to bring God’s power and hope into our lives.
That’s yet another of my fave verses, Pastor J–about “entertaining angels unaware”!!
I wonder how many times we have done it.
Probably lots more than we’ll know till we get Home 🙂
As I have grown older, I look back, and I wonder. My mother said we each have a guardian angel. Surely, I never deserved such company. And yet without God’s help I cannot imagine the blessings I have had.
I am with you Tom. Looking back is a good way to see where angels could have directly impacted our lives. Help from a surprise source, tragedies averted that should have totally crushed us. Blessings from secret sources…
