The Lord looks from heaven;
He sees all the sons of men.
14 From the place of His dwelling He looks
On all the inhabitants of the earth;
15 He fashions their hearts individually;
He considers all their works. Psalm 33:13-15

It is such a comfort that He sees me–I’m not invisible to Him!! I appreciate so much more than I can say, that He’s watching over me all the time–and He doesn’t care if I’m “frumpy”, because He sees me Beautiful!
I love the fact that He sees me not just as I am but as I will be.
Oh yes, I forgot that–most encouraging! My brain must be failing fast, as I’d just read today’s devotional–about Jesus seeing Peter as he would be–not a “reed”, but a Rock 🙂 Perhaps this is a trivia question, but when did you first know you would be a pastor?
I felt the call when I was 13 even before I was saved. I remember telling my mother I thought I should become a pastor and then I got saved a few months later and felt a call which was later confirmed through several witnesses about three weeks after I was born again.
WOWZA!!
God has been good and faithful to protect the call throughout my life. I am grateful. There have been so many times when I could have just destroyed it left to my own power.
For me it’s a two fold kind of thing- 0ne I know He is there for me no matter what may come and two He sees ALL that I do so I know I better walk the straight and narrow. I’m not saying I don’t fall from time to time because we all do but I at least I know I have someone helping me so I don’t all the time!!! The great part is, is when I do fall HE is always right there to help me up!!! So that’s what it means to me when God sees me!
It is good that we can understand that God’s presence keeps us accountable. It is also good to know He never turns His eyes from us even when we are less than beautiful.
Amen to that!
