O Lord, I have come to you for protection;
don’t let me be disgraced.
Save me, for you do what is right. Psalm 31:1

Lord God, Save me from the Evil Man Mr. K.B.Suresh, who is like a Cruel General of World War Prison Camps.
Hmm. Here is a name I am unfamiliar with. Do you have a link I could read more about to learn how to pray with you?
Yep, all of us in the US now have something to pray about. 😔
We have had things to pray about for a good long while. Perhaps we just see that clearer today than most days.
This mornings results have taken that need to a whole new level. I fear this will be regretted in hindsight.
There are many things about this season of our country’s history which will be regretted in hind sight I believe. Now I resume the posture that has taken me through the divisiveness of our country up until this point. I know that prayer is a power which brings hope to the darkest of hours.
I’ll pray that you’re correct.
The people who walk in darkness
will see a great light.
For those who live in a land of deep darkness,[c]
a light will shine….For a child is born to us,
a son is given to us.
The government will rest on his shoulders.
And he will be called:
Wonderful Counselor,[d] Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
7 His government and its peace
will never end.
He will rule with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David
for all eternity. Isaiah 9…This is a hope which goes beyond Donald or Hillary. It is where we must turn our eyes. This is prophecy and it is future. What we face now is but a moment and a step towards this eventuality.
I hear you. But this “step” could be a rapid descent down a slippery slope. We shall see, but I’m extremely discouraged that my fellow citizens think like this.
I almost have no doubt about what you say. I have felt for some time that the writing was on the wall about our “slippery slope”. There is little to be glad of and my hope has not rested in our government for some time. I think I have reconciled myself to the knowledge that perhaps America will fall before the Day of the Lord. I do not see our Republic anywhere in prophecy of Scripture and to me that is more than a geocentric omission. That said I also sense in my spirit that those who will truly seek God will be OK…better than OK, blessed. There will be hardship but we will be given tools to deal with it.
I’d appreciate being rescued from where I live–it feels like 19 years into the 40-year trek to the Promised Land…on the other hand, God has been good to bless me when I really need some encouragement, so I’m not loudly murmuring today 🙂 And maybe the latest person he’s sent into my life will be someone who will help me realize my dream of leaving to a new home where I can say I’ve seen goodness in the land of the living…
Amen! Then I shall join you in that prayer.
Thank you–more than I can say!!
