“Nothing can stop me now!”
7 Your favor, O Lord, made me as secure as a mountain.
Then you turned away from me, and I was shattered. Psalm 30:6,7

Mostly that I didn’t deserve anything good from Him–not Love; Forgiveness; the whole Jeremiah 29:11 “plan and purpose for good and not calamity, a future and a hope” deal; that He would only supply my needs–no extras. That’s all I can think of at the moment, but I’m sure there’s more.
The idea that God does not want to bless us is a lie that keeps many of us from pursuing the blessing.
Yes, satan has a bagful of lies, and uses whatever works to keep people from intimacy with God.
Yes he does. Thankfully he is not very creative and he tends to use the same bag of tricks over and over again. If we are teachable eventually we learn how to better refute his predictable lies.
I agree completely, he’s not as brilliant as he thinks, using the same tricks over and over–which makes it much easier to spot him next time!
True dat!
