Hi again–I’m not sure if you’re inviting us to just say our heart’s response, or if you’re looking for the Biblical definition, but if it’s the former, I can say that HE is the only one who can save me–not just from hell, but from all the daily-ness of life, and from the destructive aspects of myself. He’s my only Hope, and because of chronic depression I don’t leap out of bed ecstatic to be alive–so I shove myself out and immediately go to His Word; then I can do my day 🙂 God bless you!
This is good Delyn. With the meditations it is always our heart’s reponse being conformed to what the Word of God teaches. Each of us in our experience receives a nuance of understanding from the Word that is not revealed to others. In hsaring that nuance we learn from each other and deepen our walks with the Lord. Ephesians 4:12-15
Great word–thanks for your response. By the way, as you’ve said you’re retired from youth pastoring, do we still call you Pastor Joe–or not?
I retired from youth pastoring not from pastoring. I was a pastor over teens for 19 years and now I am a worship/arts and discipleship pastor assisting my lead pastor. So yep I am still Pastor J though I am not ticklish about what anyone calls me.
