I am leaving on Monday to lead worship for Special Touch Ministries in the Berkshires. So I am going to move to posting only twice daily ( though I may pop in a few times with candid posts if I have connectivity at the Getaway). Please understand if I don’t get right back to comments. I will be working solely from my smartphone (Which truthfully is a bit smarter than I am).

Do not be far from me,
for trouble is near
and there is no one to help.
12 Many bulls surround me;
strong bulls of Bashan encircle me.
13 Roaring lions that tear their prey
open their mouths wide against me.
14 I am poured out like water,
and all my bones are out of joint.
My heart has turned to wax;
it has melted within me.
15 My mouth[d] is dried up like a potsherd,
and my tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth;
you lay me in the dust of death.
16 Dogs surround me,
a pack of villains encircles me;
they pierce[e] my hands and my feet.
17 All my bones are on display;
people stare and gloat over me.
18 They divide my clothes among them
and cast lots for my garment. Psalm 22:11-18

I have felt like this one time in my life. Of course there has been other times that were hard, but one time in particular was devastating to my life. I must say though, I saw God with me through it and looking back I know He brought me through. I feel encouraged knowing that even David had times where he had to cry out to the Lord. It means we all can feel the lowest and still come out okay.
Thanks for sharing and good luck on your ministry week. 🙂
Never have acquired one of those phones. Still use a old flip phone. I have texted with it, when forced to do so, but that is about it.
