Mid Afternoon Meditation 6-16-16

My parents' home

In his pride the wicked man does not seek him;
    in all his thoughts there is no room for God.
His ways are always prosperous;
    your laws are rejected by[b] him;
    he sneers at all his enemies.
He says to himself, “Nothing will ever shake me.”
    He swears, “No one will ever do me harm.” Psalm 10-4-6

How is it that in this world created by God the wicked prosper?

  1. The wicked may prosper physically, not spiritually. They sell their souls for things and power but lack inner peace. They miss the most important thing to know God in intimate relationship and to be changed from the inside. The wicked only have things for a blink of the eye but have destruction. We are the the righteousness of God through Jesus the Messiah. The best way to prosper in all the ways that matter.

    • You are right. The course of redemption calls for the crucifixion of the flesh but thatonly leads to its resurrection which ultimately bring more satisfaction, spiritually, emotionally and physically than the wicked will ever have.
