In my head I know He does. And I eventually get there. But in the midst of affliction there is great loneliness in me…a depth of feeling that is explainable, and in those moments I feel utterly alone. I then cry out to the Lord knowing He hears me…but it takes a while to come back from such deep waters.

That stronghold of aloneness is common to us all sister. I think it is ironic that none of us are truly alone in feeling alone.
