Arise, O Lord!
Rescue me, my God!
Slap all my enemies in the face!
Shatter the teeth of the wicked!
8 Victory comes from you, O Lord.
May you bless your people. Psalm 3:7,8

Hmm.. David knew what a mighty God he served.. the people who mock Him.. one day will be toothless 🙂
It is a great faith that can know that when the enemy is on the throne and you are living in. a cave

David was respectful towards King Saul who was wanting to kill him. Although King Saul came into a cave where David was, David cut off the hem of Saul’s robe but did not kill him because God had anointed Saul. David looked to God to vindicate him.
And in that pushed aside his own fleshly desire so that God could work.
