It is so cool to me how God takes His Word and applies it in the varied lives we live. Have you seen Celtic Women in concert?
It is funny how you put it that way, and it is so hard to persuade those have not bothered read it that the Bible is a practical book.
No, I have not seen the ladies in concert, I am not much of a concert goer. Mostly, I just listen to their music on youtube.
It is intensely practical! But in order for wisdom to come for its practical application we need the illumination of the Holy Spirit to bring the Word to our personal circumstances. I can remember before receiving Christ as Savior how foreign and unknowable the Bible seemed to me.
So grateful for this truth as well….:)
