Your success and happiness lies in you. Resolve to keep happy, and your joy and you shall form an invincible host against difficulties.
Life is never perfect. We have all said that before, but maybe that’s not the best way to put the condition of life into words. Perhaps a better way to say it is that life is not perfectly what we expect. It could be that life is perfectly what we need in order to become perfect. If so, while everything in life may not be good we can still receive it with joy knowing that somehow God will use it for our good.
In that way then the words of the old hymn are true,
“It will be worth it all when we see Jesus,
Life’s trials will seem so small when we see Christ;
One glimpse of His dear face all sorrow will erase,
So bravely run the race till we see Christ.” Bill Gaither
After such a long winter you know, Pastor J I cannot get enough of the beautiful colors of summer!
Me too!
“It could be that life is perfectly what we need in order to become perfect.” That’s so true! Although my life has been a lot easier than what many people face, I’ve had my share of difficult times. But when I look back, I can see how God strengthened me and molded me into someone much better than I was before! Well said! 🙂
Thanks Nicole. Life may not be what we would choose but it somehow leads us on the path we were made to walk…at least if we don’t run from
I say that life as God made it and intended it to be is perfect – couldn’t be otherwise – but foolish mankind has interfered with His creation in every way possible.
Because we live our lives OUR way and NOT according to HIS way, we run into problems and shouldn’t wonder at all the imperfect aspects.
Praise God for His love, mercy, grace, forgiveness and enabling, that we can call life “perfect” because of His work in us. What an incredibly amazing God!
Beautiful flowers…..if we take the time to look, God always places his “flowers” in the “imperfections” of life.
It is all about finding something good to focus on.
So true.
