Cee’s Fun Foto challenge this week is “WATER”.

Here is my take on the subject
“Water does not resist. Water flows. When you plunge your hand into it, all you feel is a caress. Water is not a solid wall, it will not stop you. But water always goes where it wants to go, and nothing in the end can stand against it. Water is patient. Dripping water wears away a stone. Remember that, my child. Remember you are half water. If you can’t go through an obstacle, go around it. Water does.”
― Margaret Atwood, The Penelopiad
“The next time you think you’re perfect, try walking on water.”
― Ziad K. Abdelnour
I chuckled when I read that last quote. It wasn’t perfection that allowed Jesus to walk on the water; It was faith and obedience. Both of those things always make a way to get the impossible done.
I got a chuckle, too. That’s a great reminder for all of us. Thanks.
🙂
I really like your walking on water photo. Thanks for playing along. 🙂
Thanks Cee!
Walking on water . . . something we are called to do . . . walking by faith, not by sight . . . trusting Him for every step . . . and experiencing the joy of His victory.
Thanks for the reminder.
May we have faith to step out of the boat with complete trust in Him.
Amen!
I love that quote- when you plunge your hand into it, all you feel is a caress. It sums up my lifelong love affair with water. 🙂
Happy to see you at work in your office, too, Joseph. Hope you have a relaxing weekend planned.
I had a relaxing Monday! Thanks for the well-wishes!
