I am on a happy kick. Like Pollyanna I am determined to find something to be glad about everyday. Really there are lots of things but here’s my happy thought for the day:
I am really happy about the progress of the community gardens being created in back of our church. This week we went from three to eleven beds!
“After all the world is indeed beautiful and if we were any other creature than man we might be continuously happy in it.”

my inspiration for this post comes from three places:

The beds are looking so great!! 🙂 We just finished planting our garden, and I cannot wait for the fresh veggies to begin to grow. (Oh, and I had completely forgotten about Pollyanna!! 🙂 It makes me want to pull out the book and movie to enjoy all over again).
It was a great book.
That is great and I love that movie!
Me too!
it is contagious …
May you catch the happy disease! I cough in your general direction.
Thinking about those gardens makes me happy too! Thank you for doing this challenge!
You are welcome Deb!
Thanks for the idea . . . a community garden would be a good outreach. We are looking at the prospect of starting a men’s shed and a community garden could be part of that.
It is working out very well. Small beginnings make good foundations.
