Share Your World 2013 Week 38

share-your-world2Here are some good questions from Cee to help us get to know each other. Be warned this week’s questions may require some deep thinking! Check out Cee’s other supporters at

What were you most likely doing on this day when you were 12 years old?

Since this was in my B.C. days (Before Christ) I was most likely channeling the spirit of some dead person in my neighborhood ( today is Halloween after all). I was kind of a creepy little kid.

If you could write about, paint a picture or photograph any scenery you’ve seen before, what scene would your use?

What a hard question. I have so many scenes running through my head right now. I would probably pick the Grand Canyon from the North Rim.

What is one of your favorite quotes?

Oh boy another humdinger of a question! I love quotes so to narrow this down is nigh unto impossible for me. Let’s see I guess for now I will go with …Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. Security does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than exposure. Helen Keller

What is your favorite type of dog?  (can be anything from a specific breed, a stuffed animal or character in a movie)

I love my little Maltese dogs! Thanks Cee, for this one easy question!

  1. Maltese seem to scare one of my Sheepdogs. A former neighbor had 3, and they would bark like crazy, which made my male a nervous wreck. Then when we moved to the city, there was a little Maltese that used to look out of an office door and bark – again – my male was a nervous wreck. They are cute little dogs, but apparently, they can turn a large dog into a big baby. :).

    • That is funny because my male maltese does the same thing to this huge mastiff mix he goes to visit when I am away. The big dog won’t come near him or my female dog who would absolutely love to play with the big dog.

  2. Are you sure there’s a dog under there? LOL “…creepy little kid” You are too funny this week, Joseph. Cee needs to make you think harder every week. Now that’s a quote to ponder a bit. Have a great weekend!

  3. I LOVE that quote… 🙂 “Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.” I’m working on the ‘daring’ part. With God, I can find that strength to be BRAVE and to fearlessly embrace the future, instead of cowering before it in fear. I LOVE the strength that God gives us… And I love that with Him, life IS a DARING adventure!

  4. I love quotes and find it difficult to pick one, but one has always remained at the top of my list. I’ve quoted it here often . . . from Jim Elliot . . .
“So live, that when you come to die, you have nothing left to do, but die”

I think that covers most others, but a close second, from Mr Anon, is . . .
“If there is no fruit in my life, there is no reason for my existence”
