Share Your World With Cee Cee 2013 Week 34

As many of you know, I have been on the briefest of sabbaticals since last Thursday. I am just trying to recharge my batteries a bit before heading into the holiday season. My two and a half days off were very restful and given a few more I might just feel like doing something more vacationy than laying on the couch but for now I am content to have the rest. I thought I would dip my toes back in the blogging ocean by answering Cee’s four weekly questions.

If you were to move and the house came fully furnished with everything you ever wanted, list at least three things from your old house you wish to retain? (assume all personal items; photos, books, animals, etc. go with you).

I would want my great grandmother’s hutch. Other than that I don’t think there is anything in the house I would probably miss.

Is the glass half empty or half full? What is in the glass?

The glass is always running over with everything I need as long as I keep my focus on my God. When  I see less than enough that is my perception not His reality.

What calms you down?

Keeping my mind centered on the never-ending presence of God around me.

What individual item of food would you not eat, even if it was served to you at the Queen/President’s dinner table? (Something ordinary.)

I would eat every bite on my plate at such a meal. I wouldn’t want to be rude. 🙂

  1. I’m glad you had a good however brief sabbatical. I really adore your answer to the half full question. Yes indeed when life doesn’t seem full it is us humans that get in the way. Thanks for sharing!

  2. Thank you for sharing Pastor J what is close to your heart and it is how I would have answered those questions too so of course they were right and very good except your great grandmother’s hutch, I don’t think you would give it to me?

But one did make me think… most things I would take would be personal for me like books, photos and gifts from others and of course kitchen utensils and plates etc garden tools, I don’t need to buy them again…. No there is nothing I can think of but I hope the bed is comfortable.

As for food if it doesn’t have chilli or strong curry, I enjoy everything , to eat food with these additives in them would have me jumping all over the place and drinking everyone’s water and I’m sure the Queen would not be impressed when drank hers too 🙄

Good to see you back Pastor J and I’m pleased you enjoyed your rest but as you said…….Keeping my mind centered on the never-ending presence of God around me… very True He is always with us unless we push Him away by our unconfessed sin.

Christian Love from both of us – Anne
