It seems Monday is becoming my “share your world” night. At least that is for the month of September. I am currently waiting for the guest worship team to show up for tonight’s service ( I am the sound tech for the evening…feel sorry for the band) so I have a few moments to jot down a few thoughts concerning this week’s awesome questions.
Here they are:
If you could live in any OTHER time, when would it be and why?
Oh this is a hard one. Since I intend to live on now for eternity in the glorified body waiting for me before God’s throne. I suppose I do not need to consider any time in the future because I shall live then and I can patiently wait for those days. So as I look to the past I think I would greatly love to live in Jerusalem during the days of Christ’s crucifixion, resurrection, ascension and the beginning of His church. I would like to be one of the first Gentiles to sign on for the trip!
If you were given a yacht today, what would you name it?
The Lillie-Pad of course. A home that floats on the water. 🙂
Tell how you are feeling today in the form of a weather report. (For example, partly cloudy, sunny with a chance for showers, etc.)
I was going to say clear and calm up until about 5 minutes ago. Now we have sudden high winds with the potential of toppling trees.
List at least two things in nature do you find most beautiful?
I love the changing of the seasons and I truly love waterfalls.
While this concludes my answers Cee’s other contributors are chiming in at this very moment at http://www.ceephotography.com/2013/09/23/share-your-world-2013-week-33/ . Go ahead and check them out.
Waterfalls…that is cool. I hope your evening didn’t have too many trees falling down!!! thanks for sharing!
Oh just a few, but none hit me so it’s all good.
Well Pastor J you did indeed get me to pondering, so where would I rather be….well for sure, I don’t want to be in the past and the present is flowing ok but I do very much look forward to being in Heaven, so yes I would like to be there in my Eternal Home with my Lord and Saviour.
I would call my Yacht….Deep water, hoping it wouldn’t be marooned, of course if I was at the wheel the possibility would be very great, so I Trust in our Captain to keep me on course, He knows if the waters are rough or smooth .
This morning was overcast but the Son rose and brightened the darkness, leaving shimmering Light across the pools of my mind.
I Love all God’s Creation, it’s too hard to choose just two but to be honest I’m not too impressed with flies and mosquitoes, I know they are needed as part of the food chain but why do they think I’m part of theirs or my food is.
Christian Love from both of us – Anne.
I loved your answer to number four. I have often wondered why God made mosquitoes or if they were a part of the fall.
The Lillie-Pad. Now that is perfect!
Waterfalls – yes!!! I don’t care if I don’t see any more beaches, but I LOVE mountains, rugged or lush, and especially a combination of mountains and waterfalls.
Love your “Lillie Pad”. I’d call it “For Sale” – or at least that is the sign I’d put on it.
“Other time”? I have a fascination with period dramas. I wouldn’t mind a few years of living in the time when ladies were ladies – provided, of course, I was part of the elite class. The working class had a pretty poor lifestyle.
Great answers Angela. I love waterfalls on mountains during hot summer days!
