“Sometimes I go to God and say, “God, if Thou dost never answer another prayer while I live on this earth, I will still worship Thee as long as I live and in the ages to come for what Thou hast done already. God’s already put me so far in debt that if I were to live one million millenniums I couldn’t pay Him for what He’s done for me.”

Today’s leg of the Lenten journey leads us through a meditation on worship. The questions I am pondering today are:
On a scale of 1 to 5 (1 being I am just at the beginning and 5 being I am well-developed in this)
How am I doing with joining myself to a body for corporate worship renewal and refreshing?
Where am I in my personal plan to achieve my God-given goals and dreams?
How is my heart growing in love for praise and worship to God?
How well am I honoring God with my physical and personal health?
How am I honoring God through a balanced life?
How can I better live for God’s pleasure?
I am interested in hearing what God has said to you today.

I’m Good on items 2 and 3, and probably okay with 6.
These are great observations. I shall be praying that God reveals one step (because that’s all we can take at time) which He would have you take in the next year unless of course you already know it. In which case I shall pray for bravery to take the step. Bravery is something I pray for every day for myself.
The last question fit in with something He brought to me this morning from Ps. 104:34 .. . “May my meditation be sweet to Him; I will be glad in the Lord.” I want to please Him with my thoughts today, to bring Him pleasure! Thank you and God bless you on your journey, Pastor J!
THanks Deb! I am blessed. May this word be established.
God is speaking physical and personal health to me. He is working in and through me to honor Him in this area. May I continue to invite the Holy Spirit to guide me in this area.
Amen Deb!
passed with flying colors (: you can tell there is still room for humility..
awesome post!
Thank you!
I found today’s questions easier than some previous ones, but there is always room for improvement – especially regards the last one
Indeed. Living for God’s pleasure is always an area where we are growing.
