It is time to SHARE OUR WORLDS AGAIN!
Share Your World is the weekly challenge where Melanie asks us a few questions and in answering them we all share a little piece of each other’s world.
Here are this week’s sharing questions:
What are the most important lesson(s) you’ve learned in life?
That the purpose of life is to love God with all our hearts, souls, minds and strengths and to love our neighbors as ourselves. Luke 10:27
The second most important lesson I have learned is that God works everything together for our good if we just focus on loving and following Him. (Romans 8:28)
How did you meet your husband/wife or significant other? How did you know he/she was “the one”?
The first time I ever met Tina we were at a local campground and beach with a bunch of youth group friends. I think we were both fourteen at the time. We didn’t actually get together until our senior year of high school., but I think I knew she was the one from that first encounter. Something just clicked for both of us. That connection was so strong that even after all the water under the bridge we are still very good friends. She is one of the easiest people to talk to I have ever met.
If you could take a year-long paid sabbatical, what would you do?
Rest and write.
What is your favorite thing to buy at a movie theater concession stand? (credit to The Haunted Wordsmith for this one)

I love Christmas Eve service…and I really love it when Christmas Day falls on a Sunday and we start the day with church.

Morning Direction From Scripture 12-4-18
O God, why have you rejected us forever?
Why does your anger smolder against the sheep of your pasture?
2 Remember the nation you purchased long ago,
the people of your inheritance, whom you redeemed—
Mount Zion, where you dwelt.
3 Turn your steps toward these everlasting ruins,
all this destruction the enemy has brought on the sanctuary.
4 Your foes roared in the place where you met with us;
they set up their standards as signs.
5 They behaved like men wielding axes
to cut through a thicket of trees.
6 They smashed all the carved paneling
with their axes and hatchets.
7 They burned your sanctuary to the ground;
they defiled the dwelling place of your Name.
8 They said in their hearts, “We will crush them completely!”
They burned every place where God was worshiped in the land. Psalm 74:1-8
There is a growing hatred of our faith throughout the world. What would Jesus have us do?
