SANDY HAS GIVEN US A SUNDAY CHALLENGE TO DISPLAY OUR OCHRE PHOTOS.
HERE ARE MINE:
Imagine what’s going on beneath these clouds. It kind of chills me.
This post is in response to Sunday Stills’ Black & White Cloud challenge
Check them out when you’re done creating the story behind this picture and telling me about it.
This week’s Sunday Still Challenge is all about the circuitous paths we take. Find out how other photographers have interpreted the theme of THE LONG AND WINDING ROAD at
Here are my interpretations:
The road into Torc Falls is a long and windy way.
But I do not have to travel to Ireland to find a long winding road. I can travel plenty in my native New England.
This week’s Sunday Stills challenge is all about international cuisine.
As soon as I saw the theme I knew the picture I was going to post.This is witloaf (pronounced Vit-loaf). It’s chicken wrapped in bacon on a bed of endive and baked in a cheese crust smothered with a special red sauce. YUMMMMY! But what I remember about the meal beyond the great taste was the wonderful company. Thanks to Willem and Mirjam Jackson for the memories!

“To country people Cows are mild,
And flee from any stick they throw;
But I’m a timid town bred child,
And all the cattle seem to know.”

I am a country person but I’m with Elliot. Cows are scary things.
